The translation is by Perrett and Jeffery, 1923.

This excerpt omits a one-page introduction relating to history and personalities, as well as sections 4-22. The original paper from 1916 is public domain the U.S. The translation was published in the U.S. in 1923 as part of The Principle of Relativity, Methuen. The copyright was not renewed, so the translation is in the public domain. Further editorial work and formatting has been done by B. Crowell, who dedicates it to the public domain.

The version is based on a LaTeX-formatted one made by B. Crowell, and available at http://www.lightandmatter.com/genrel/
