[edit]I'm just reviewing older histories of the Alaska Boundary Dispute and in reference to background events, "Article 26 of the Treaty of Washington" (meaning this treaty, 1871) concerns the right of free shipping, in this case on the Stikine River; I'm wondering if that article was Pacific Northwest-specific or if its text is more general. Could someone who has the source-text please add Article XXVI?71.7.131.60 14:45, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
