The Tees and Hartlepool Port
Authority (Dissolution) Order 1994
Made - - - - 16th March 1994
Whereas the Secretary of State for Transport is for the purposes of Part I of the Ports Act 1991[1] the appropriate Minister in relation to the Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority;
And whereas the Secretary of State is satisfied as to the matters mentioned in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of subsection (1) of section 7 of that Act:
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, after consulting the Authority in pursuance of the said subsection (1), in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that subsection and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
Citation
1. This Order may be cited as the Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority (Dissolution) Order 1994.
Dissolution of the Authority
2. The Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority shall be dissolved on 31st March 1994.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order dissolves the Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority on 31st March 1994. On that day any property, rights and liabilities to which the Authority are entitled or subject immediately before that day are by virtue of section 7 of the Ports Act 1991 transferred to and become property, rights and liabilities of the Authority’s successor company, Tees and Hartlepool Port Authority Limited.
