దో

దోకు doku, v, a. To smooth the earth*, to dig up grass by. the root. దోకుకొనిపోవు dokukonipovu, To be grazed, as applied to the skin.

దోగు, దోగాడు dogu, dogaMu, v. n- To creep on the knees, as an infant.

దోచు, దోచుకొను dotsu, dotsukonu, v. a. To plunder, rob, or commit devastation.

దోటీ doti, s. A long pole with a hook at the end of it, used to pluck fruit from high trees.

దోనము donamu, s. A large heavy mallet, for driving wedges into the clefts of the palmyra-tree, when it is split.

దోనె done, s. A native vessel with a single masfc. 2. A boat.

దోపు, దోపుడు dopu, dopudu, 5. Plunder, devastation, pillage. దోపుడువాడు dopuctuvadu, s. A robber, a thief.

దోపు dopu, v. a. To place, or stick, in ; to thrust in ; to insert.

దోమ doma, * A musquitoe, a gnat. దోమతెర domatera, A musquitoe curtain.

దోయి doyi, 5. A couple, two.

దోయిలి doyili, s. The two hands joined together, so as to hold any thing. దోయిలించు doyilintsu, To hold the hands joined together, in that manner.

దోరకాయ dorakaya, s. A fruit almost ripe.

దోరగిలి, దోరగిల్లు doragilu, doragillu, v. n. To be bent, as applied to trees; to be nearly ripe, as applied to fruit.

దోరణము doranamu, s. vide తోరణము toranamu. దోరము doramu, s. A gate, door, or entrance.

దోరవన్నె doravanne, s. A bay colour.

దోరు doru, v. n. To be bent, as applied to trees. 2. To die.

దోవ dova, s. A road, path, or way. 2. Means, mode, manner. 3. An expedient, vide త్రోవ trova, దోవతప్పిపోవు dovatappipovu, To miss one's way. దోవచీలు dovachilu, To part, or go off, as one road from another.

దోవతి dovati, s. A Hindoo's lower garment; the cloth round his loins.

దోశ dosa, s. A particular kind of cake baked on an iron plate. దోశపోయు dosapoyu, To bake this cake on an iron plate.

దోషము doshamu, s. Fault, defect, blemish. 2. Sin, offence, crime.

దోసకాయ dusakaya, s. A cucumber.

దోసిలి dosili, s. vide దోయిలి doyili. దోసెడు desedu, adj. As much as the two hands joined can contain.

దోసె dose, s. vide దోశ dosa.
