This template is to allow for the entry of an abbreviated or contracted form of word used to approximate scribal abbreviations in some typset version of original manuscripts.

Usage

{{+-|1|2}} where

• 1 is the letter to which the mark applies.
• 2 (optional) the expanded form abbreviated.
