Purpose

This template enables linking from American Medical Biographies entries to other American Medical Biographies entries. This template links absolutely, so it can be used anywhere, including in the Page: namespace.

Simple

The links are typically different than the text due to first last and last, first {{AMB1920 article link|Chester Dewey|Dewey, Chester}} gives: Chester Dewey

Small caps

Where small-caps is required, which is unlikely for this encyclopedia, the standard display can be overridden:
