Purpose

This template enables linking from Wikisource articles (usually author pages) to articles in the Wikisource project The Cyclopædia of American Biography. It defaults to the 1918 edition, though the template can be used for earlier editions, if necessary.

Usage

Simple example (1918)

{{CAB link|Putnam, George Haven}}

displays as:

"Putnam, George Haven," in The Cyclopædia of American Biography, New York: (1918)

Another edition example

displays as:
