Template for generating characters with a dot above.

shorthand version

No shorthand version exists.

no parameter

Without parameter a superscripted dot is generated:

valid parameter

A valid parameter is one of the letters a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, m, n, o, p, r, s, t, w, x, y, z, or its uppercase pendant. A valid parameter generates a letter with a dot above:

An invalid parameter generates this parameter followed by a superscripted dot:
