Template:EnglishHymnalHeader
This template is intended for use on the Index:The English hymnal (1906).djvu (i.e. the version with tunes and harmonisations) retranscription project, as a way to standardise and facilitate formatting. It should be placed immediately before the lilypond score.
Usage

Additional |description-middle= and |description-top= parameters are available if required. |description-alternative= is provided for use with alternative tunes or settings, such as for example Page:The English hymnal (1906).djvu/35.
The template will automatically add a period at the end of the tempo mark and an "equals" sign at the appropriate position, unless no tempo symbol is specified.

Full version
[edit]The only parameters which are required (do not have a default value) are |number= and |description=. Everything else can be omitted if not needed.
