This template should be used on every user-created essay on Wikisource. It does not apply to essays that are part of the libraries collection in the main namespace. This template will automatically link to Wikisource:Essays and categorise the page.

NB: This template can accept up to five (5) unnamed parameters. These are displayed within the template as shortcuts.
Categories
[edit]This template adds the page to Category:Wikisource essays or to Category:User essays, depending on namespace.
