These paired templates generate an (optional) wrapper for use with {{numbered div}}. It creates a column to the left of the page into which the numbering added by that template will flow.

Where
- parameter 1 is the width of the text column
- parameter 2 is the width of the gutter/numbering white-space (defaults to 5 top match the default in {{numbered div}}
- Optional parameter align - changes the text-alignment used.
