Template:Scan page link 2/doc

This template gives links for tables of contents when a simple offset system as used in {{scan page link}} is not sufficient.

Usage

[edit]
{{scan page link 2|scan page|link label}}

In the main namespace, this gives a simple, unlinked label consisting of {{{2}}}, the link label.

In the page: namespace, it gives a link to the relevant page with the number in the first parameter, eg. (Page:XXXX.djvu/{{{1}}}). The correct scan file is deduced from the page the template is used on. The link text will still be the second parameter, as in the main namespace.

In the index namespace, it will additionally show the proofreading status of the pages as a background colour.

Example

[edit]

In the table of contents for The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy:

{{scan page link 2|9|iii}}

This will then link to page 9, eg. (Page:The Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy - 1729 - Volume 1.djvu/9) from the index page when transcluded, and will show the page number (unlinked) in the main namespace. In both places, the link will read "iii".
