"W-a" stands for "Wikipedia annotation". Creates a link to Wikipedia that only displays on annotation subpages, using {{annotation switch}}. This simplifies having to create interwiki links. Ideally, this only takes one parameter: the text that you wish to annotate, which is the title of the Wikipedia article (this can be a redirect page). For example:

Lorem ipsum {{w-a|Henry VIII}} dolor sit amet yields:

Lorem ipsum Henry VIII

"Henry VIII" will display as "Henry VIII" in the annotated subpage.

If there is no Wikipedia article matching the text you wish to annotate, use the second parameter (the name of the article). For example:

However, {{w-a|the king|Henry VIII}} disagreed. yields:

However, the king disagreed.

"…the king" should display as "…the king" in the annotated subpage.
