Template:WD author/doc

To list a work on an Author page where use of the author's name would be redundant; using information imported from Wikidata.

Template parameters

Example

For a work written by John Napier where the name of the author is redundant (eg, on the author page)

{{WD author|Q107661385|Q107644932}} produces: The Construction of the Wonderful Canon of Logarithms, translated by William Rae Macdonald (1889) (transcription project)

The second parameter is optional, so:

{{WD author|Q107661385}} produces: The Construction of the Wonderful Canon of Logarithms, translated by William Rae Macdonald (1889) (transcription project)
