- Eddie Powell was drowned in Hempstead Reservoir on Thursday.
- Rev. George E. Smith, an enthusiastic shouter in the cause of religion, arrested stealing $6 worth of potatoes at Newtown, and was yesterday fined $15.
- Henry Lattin, a Farmingdale farmer, seventy-two years old, is under arrest for beating and choking his wife who sues him divorce. He is perfectly wild over the subject of religion and beats his wife in the most brutal manner.
