A maid of Brasse, I am, Infixed here-T'Eternise Honest Midus Sepulcher.And while the streame, her fluent seede receiues;And steepe trees curle their verdant brows with leaues;While Phœbus, rais'd aboue the Earth giues sight;And T'humorous Moone, takes Luster from his light;While floods beare waues; and Seas shall wash the shore;At this his Sepulcher, whom all deplore,I'le constantly Abide; All passers byInforming; Here, doth Honest Midus Lie.
