First published in parts, from September to November 1912, in the daily Le Journal, The crystal stopper is a novel by Maurice Leblanc featuring his popular character, the gentleman-thief, Arsene Lupin (Arsène Lupin in French). For this novel, Maurice Leblanc drew inspiration from the Panama scandal (1892).
