Rebirth
The tufted tussock caterpillar
Pushed out of his stiff cocoon.
He did not see the blue sky,
Nor the sun-roofed splendor of the woods.
He looked at his dogwood branch,
And he sighed, "What a lot of work
For me to accomplish!"
And he began to eat,
And eat, and eat.
Pushed out of his stiff cocoon.
He did not see the blue sky,
Nor the sun-roofed splendor of the woods.
He looked at his dogwood branch,
And he sighed, "What a lot of work
For me to accomplish!"
And he began to eat,
And eat, and eat.
