FÜRSTENBERG, a mediæval principality, now comprised in Baden, Hohenzollern and Württemberg. The name is perpetuated by the princely house of Fürstenberg of Austria, by the landgraves of Fürstenberg of Lower Austria and by the counts of Fürstenberg in Rhenish Prussia and Westphalia.
