MILAN, Tenn., city in Gibson County, on the Illinois Central and the Louisville and Nashville railroad, about 95 miles northeast of Memphis. It is in an agricultural and lumbering region; the principal products are cotton and fruit. The chief manufacturing establishments are flour-mills, fruit-canning works, cotton gins and barrel factory. It has a college and good schools. Pop. 1,700.
