OCUBA-WAX, a vegetable wax obtained from the fruit of a nutmeg (Myristica ocuba), growing abundantly in the marshy grounds on the shores of the Amazon and its tributaries. It is easily bleached, and is used extensively in Brazil for the manufacture of candles.
