SCHOENECK, shėn'ĕk, Edward, American lawyer: b. Syracuse, N. Y., 1 Aug. 1875. He studied law at Syracuse University and was admitted to the bar in 1903. In 1902 he became a member of the board of supervisors of Onondaga County, was a member of the New York assembly, 1904-07 and mayor of Syracuse, 1910-13. He was elected lieutenant-governor of New York State 1915-16.
