Abraham Pandithar, Rao Sahib; born 1860; privately educated; founded an experimental farm, which has been a great success; Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, London; Member of the Madura Tamil Sangam; Member of the Municipal and Taluk Boards and Hospital Committee, Tanjore; Governor of the Victoria Caste and Gosha Hospital, Madras; Honorary Visitor of the Government Agricultural College, Coimbatore and Tanjore; and Ayurvedic Medical Practitioner, Tanjore; title conferred, June 1909.
