Bod, Raja of, Jogindra Deo; Born, about 1857; succeeded to gaddi, 1879; title of ‘Raja’ enjoyed since the time of the Mahrattas was recognised in 1874; eldest son of the family is called the Jubaraj and younger sons are called Babu; the State is one of the tributary Mahals of Orissa. Area of the State, 2064 square miles; population, about 140,000. The Raja has a force of 592 infantry and 2 guns. Address: Bod, Orissa.
