Chandrasekar Prasad Singh Deo, Raja of Udaipur. At the time of the transfer of this State to the British, in accordance with the agreement entered into with Madhoji Bhonsle in 1818, Kalyan Singh, the then Chief, paid tribute through the state of Sarguja. In 1852, Udaipur escheated to Government; but in 1860, it was conferred on a brother of the chief of Sarguja who had helped the British in the Mutiny of 1857.
