The Maharaja; resigned British Service, 1890; Commandant, Imperial Service Regiment. Mysore Lancers, 1894; Lieut-Col. Mysore Army, 1894; Milty Sec. to Mysore Government, 1896; Chief Commandant, Mysore State Troops, 1897. m. a sister (d. 1904) of the present Maharajah, leaving many children.
