Faridkot, Raja of; H.H. Farzand-i-Saadat-i-Nishan-i-Hazrat-i-Kaiser-i-Hind Barar Bans Raja Brij Indar Singh; b. 1896; succeeded to gaddi as a minor, 1906; claims descent from a family which helped the British in the Sikh wars as well as at the time of the Mutiny of 1857. For these and other services, the State was exempted from the services of ten horsemen which it had to provide. The Raja has been allowed the right of adoption. Is entitled to a salute of 11 guns.
