Gokhale, Trimbuck Chintaman, Rao Sahib: b. 1849: educ; Poona, entered Government service and served in various capacities, as Inspector of Sanitation and Vaccination in the Bombay Presidency; Superintendant of Vaccine Institute Telgaon; and Plague Superintendent, Belgaum District, from which he retired; Rao Sahib, 1910; was also presented with a laced turban by the Government.
