Ilaiyarasanandal, Zamindar of; Sri Ravilla Venkataranga Appa-Swami Nayudu Garu; claims descent from an ancient family said to have emigrated from modern Vellore, Chittoor District in the Madras Presidency, during the time of Krishna Raya, the greatest of the Vijayanagar Kings (1509-1580 A.D.); s. of Kasturi Ranga Appasawmi Nayudu; b. 1847; educ: Hindu College, Tinnevelly; knows English, Tamil and Sanskrit; assumed management, 1900; Member.
