(Glasgow), Personal Assistant to Senior Surgeon and Government Oculist, Mysore State; b, 1863; educ: at the Central College, Bangalore; Maharajas College, Mysore, and the Medical College, Madras; M.D. 1888; Edinburgh and Glasgow degrees, 1890; joined Service as Assistant Surgeon, Bangalore, 1899; Science Teacher, H.H, Maharani’s Girl’s School, 1893; reverted to Bangalore and was in charge of the Leper and Lunatic Asylums, and Maternity and Medical Stores, 1S94; Offg Civil Surgeon, Chickmaglur, 1896; Assistant Surgoen, Eye Surgery, 1897; travelled through India for collecting statstics on the eye sight of school children, 1901; Personal Assistant to Senior Surgoen and Government Oculist, 1906.
