Maharao Kaishri Singhij Bahadur of of Sirohi; invested with full powers, 1998: area of the State 16,062 square miles; population, 73,500; revenue, about one lakh; The State came under British protection and control for the first time in 1818; The Maharaja maintains a military force of 39 cavalry, 168 infantry, 13 artillery, and 17 serviceable guns; is entitled to a salute of 15 guns.
