Jiva Nand Padha, Rai Bahadur, retired Chief Secretary to H.H. of Mandi; b 1852; had private education; entered the service of H.H. the Raja of Tehri as Private Secretary; was also in military command of the Raja; Collector and Financial Minister, Mandi, 1876; his next appointment was in Jodhpur where he was awarded a pension of Rs. 200 a month; returned to Mandi, worked as Chief Secretary till the time of retirement; Rai Bahadur, 1908.
