Frontier, 1897-98; present at the relief of Malakand, Buner; Waziristan Expedition, 1901-02; officiated in Command of the Assam District; A.D.C to H.M. the King, 1901; Colonel on the Staff in India, 1903; Commandant of Assam Brigade, 1901-05; retired, 1909.
