Muhammad Akbar Khan, Raja, Saidpur; Raja Sahadi Khan, one of the ancestors of the present Raja, was a contemporary and Feudatory of Emperors Baber, Humayun and Akbar, and ruled over the Districts of Bhimbar Nowshera, within the present limits of Jammu and Kashmir; b. 1875; succeeded to State. 1908; enjoys a pension of Rs. 10,000 per annum granted in perpetuity to the family by Raja Gulab Singh, the successor of the Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and which has been recognised by the British Government; was a Naib Thasildar for some time; was also a Member of the Municipality of Jhelum.
