Rama Rao, Tumparti, B.A., Diwan Bahadur (1909), retired Deputy Collector; b. 1849; joined service, 1871; Translator, Kurnool Collectorate, 1880; English Head Clerk, Kurnool Collectorate; Huzur Sheristadar, 1882; Deputy Collector, 1885; served in Cuddapah, Bellary and North Arcot districts; acted as Collector in charge of the Zamindaries of Karvetnagar and Kalahasti, 1904; retired, 1909.
