Consulting Physician, London; Member, Students’ Advisory Council, India Office; b. 1858; s. of late Siti Kantha Sinha of Raipur, Birhum, Bengal; educ: Calcutta; University College, London; joined I.M.S., 1886; served in the Burmese Campaign, and Tirah and Chinese Expeditions; also in Bengal as D.M.O. and Deputy Sanitary Commissioner; retired, 1905.
