TO
THE RIGHT WORSHIPFUL

John Thomas, Esq.

VICE WARDEN OF THE STANNARIES OF CORNWALL.

Sir,
I dedicate to your Worship, without scruple or apology, a Collection of Laws relating for the most part, to that Court, in which, for upwards of Twenty Years, you have presided with so much ability. To no one else could it be inscribed without manifest injustice.

The scarcity of the Edition published by Authority of the last Convocation, first prompted me to undertake the work; and I was further influenced by the hope that an Appendix, with copious Index and some other Additions might render the Laws more generally useful.

That my humble, but well-meant endeavours, may meet with your worship's Approbation, is the ardent wish of,

WORSHIPFUL SIR,
YOUR MOST
OBEDIENT SERVANT,
J. T.

Turo 1st. January, 1808.
