GERI (gā'rḗ) AND FREKI, frā'kḗ. The wolves of Odin (q.v.). They lie at his feet as he is seated on his throne in Valhalla, ready to feast with his chosen heroes. Odin himself needs no food, so he gives all the meat that is set before him to his wolves.
