Keno′sha, Wis., the capital city of Kenosha County, on Lake Michigan, in the southeastern part of the state. It lies 33 miles south of Milwaukee and 50 north of Chicago, and, as it has an excellent harbor, is well situated for developing a substantial lake traffic. The Rambler automobile factory is situated in Kenosha, brass and iron beds are manufactured, and the largest sole-leather tannery in the world is operated. Population 21,371.
