British society magazine founded under the title The Queen by Samuel Beeton in 1861. In 1958, the "The" was dropped, giving it the title Queen. From 1970 it was known as Harper's & Queen. Eventually the word Queen was dropped from the masthead. It continues today as Harper's Bazaar.
