New Directors of "The Times"

At a meeting at Printing-house-square yesterday the following additional Directors of The Times Publishing Company were added to the existing board:—

John Brainerd Capper.

Born 1855. Educated at Royal High School, Edinburgh; Edinburgh University (M.A. Edinburgh, 1877, First Class Honours in Classics); Heidelberg University. Joined staff of The Times in 1878 , and after serving in various departments became Assistant-Editor in February 1884. Has been the Editor's principal assistant since then.

George Geoffrey Robinson.

Born 1874. Educated at Eton and Magdalen Oxford. First Class "Greats" 1897. Fellow of All Souls 1898. Colonial Office, 1899-1901. Private Secretary to Lord Milner in South, Africa 901–5. Editor of the Star, Johannesburg, 1905–10. South Africa Correspondent of The Times 1906–10. Entered The Times Office 1911.
