A Memorial to Lady Verney

Lady Verney's family and friends feel that, having regard to her lifelong enthusiasm for higher education, particularly in Wales, the most fitting way to perpetuate her memory will be by founding a "Margaret Verney Scholarship," to be awarded at the discretion of the Council and Senate of the University College of North Wales. The movement is supported by Lord Boston, Lady Buxton, Sir Harry R. Reichel, Sir Michael Sadler, and Miss H. M. White. It is felt that many of Lady Verney's friends will be glad of the opportunity of contributing to this memorial. Donations, however small, will be gratefully acknowledged by the hon. treasurer (Miss Ruth Verney), "Margaret Verney Scholarship Fund," University College of North Wales, Bangor.
