Elected a Representative Peer for Ireland, 1913; Member of Senate of Northern Ireland, 1921; served in European War, 1914-19. Only surviving son of Henry William Crosbie, 5th Visct., by his 1st marriage with Mary (d. 1869), dau. of the late Rev. Henry King, of Ballylin; b. 4th May, 1868; s. his father as 6th Visct., 23rd February, 1911; m. 5th Jan., 1905, Agnes Elizabeth, 3rd dau. of the late Dacre Hamilton, D.L., of Cornacassa, Co.
