Sussex Regt., 1908; became Lieut.-Col. unattached list, 1915, and Col. 1919; served during Sth. African War, 1899-1901; Mil. Attaché Tokyo and Korea, 1911-14, and 1915-10: employed at War Office, 1914-15; appointed Commandant Roy. Mil. Sch. of Music, 1920; son of late Lieut.-Col. Thomas Henry Somerville, D.L., J.P., of Brisbane, Co. Cork; b. 1872; m. 1910, Vera Cooper, dau. of Charles Aston Key. Res.: Kneller Hall, Twickenham; Naval and Military Club.
