LXVII.
The Same.
Farewell all those happy days,
I past new pleasures still persuing,
Since I saw Lavinia's face,
I from that moment date ray ruin.
I past new pleasures still persuing,
Since I saw Lavinia's face,
I from that moment date ray ruin.
Wit adorn'd with ev'ry charm,
And Beauty in its youthfull splendor,
Hearts best guarded soon disarme,
And force the wisest to surrender.
And Beauty in its youthfull splendor,
Hearts best guarded soon disarme,
And force the wisest to surrender.
