Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform
No 11
Re: Appointment of holders of important positions in the Council for Democratic Reform


In order to enable the orderly governance of the Country and to exercise control over all situations which could be caused by those wishing ill for the Nation, so that the state of normalcy would return as quickly as possible; the following persons are hereby appointed to positions in the Headquarters of the Council for Democratic Reform:

  1. General Ruangroj Mahasaranon, Chief of Defence Forces, as Chief Advisor to the Council for Democratic Reform;
  2. General Sonthi Boonyaratglin, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, as Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform;
  3. Admiral Sathiraphan Keyanon, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, as First Deputy Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform;
  4. Air Chief Marshal Chalit Pukbhasuk, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, as Second Deputy Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform;
  5. Police General Kowit Wattana, Commissioner General of the Royal Thai Police Agency,[1] as Third Deputy Chief of the Council for Democratic Reform;
  6. General Winai Phattiyakul, Secretary General of the National Security Council, as Secretary General of the Council for Democratic Reform.

This Announcement shall take effect from now on.
