Announcement of the Revolutionary Party
No. 1


Whereas the Revolutionary Party, which is composed of army officers, naval officers, air force officers, police officers, and civilians, has seized the national administrative power in the name of all Thais since the time of 21 hours of this 20th day of October 2501 Buddhist Era and all the situations have generally been under the control of the Revolutionary Party, people and citizens are asked to carry out their work and occupations as usual, all public servants are required to perform the work under their duties as before, and every person is required to remain calm and refrain from committing any act which would cause disorder in the Country. No military force shall be moved, except upon order of the Leader of the Revolutionary Party, and the commanders of all forces of the Country shall only listen to and abide by orders from the Leader of the Revolutionary Party.

Moreover, all the military and police officers shall be informed that this power seizure will not result in the change of a commander in the military and police circles and all the military and police officers are still under the same commanders. Thus, all the military and police officers are required to continue listening to orders from the same commanders.
