มาตรา ๑๗ ศาลแขวงมีอำนาจพิจารณาพิพากษาคดี และมีอำนาจทำการไต่สวน หรือมีคำสั่งใด ๆ ซึ่งผู้พิพากษาคนเดียวมีอำนาจตามที่กำหนดไว้ในมาตรา ๒๔ และมาตรา ๒๕ วรรคหนึ่ง	Section 17 Municipal courts have the power to try and adjudicate cases and have the power to conduct examinations or issue whatever order for which a single judge has the power as determined in section 24 and section 25, paragraph 1.
