มาตรา ๖ ให้เลขาธิการสำนักงานศาลยุติธรรม โดยความเห็นชอบของคณะกรรมการบริหารศาลยุติธรรม มีอำนาจเสนอความเห็นเกี่ยวกับการจัดตั้ง การยุบเลิก หรือการเปลี่ยนแปลงเขตอำนาจศาลของศาลยุติธรรมต่อคณะรัฐมนตรีเพื่อพิจารณาดำเนินการ ทั้งนี้ โดยคำนึงถึงจำนวน สภาพ สถานที่ตั้ง และเขตอำนาจศาลตามที่จำเป็นเพื่อให้การอำนวยความยุติธรรมแก่ประชาชนเป็นไปโดยเรียบร้อยตลอดราชอาณาจักร

Section 6 The Secretary General of the Office of the Courts of Justice shall have the power to, with the approval of the Courts of Justice Judicial Service Commission, submit to the Council of Ministers for consideration and implementation opinions concerning the establishment of courts of justice, the dissolution of the same, or the change of their jurisdiction, having regard to the number, condition, locations, and jurisdiction of courts as necessary for enabling the orderly carriage of justice to the people throughout the Kingdom.

มาตรา ๗ ให้คณะกรรมการบริหารศาลยุติธรรมกำหนดจำนวนผู้พิพากษาในศาลยุติธรรมให้เหมาะสมตามความจำเป็นแห่งราชการ	Section 7 The Courts of Justice Judicial Service Commission shall determine a number of judges for a court of justice as appropriate for the necessity of its official service.
