1 The burden of Jehovah's word to Israel, by Malachi.

2 "I have loved you," says Jehovah, "and yet you all say: ' How have you loved us?' Wasn't Esau the brother of Jacob?" says Jehovah "Yet I loved Jacob"

3 "But I hated Esau, and I have made his mountains empty and I made his heritage for the jackals of the wilderness."

4 "Even though Edom says;' we have been made poor, but we will return and build from the ruins,' this is what Jehovah of Armies says:'They will build, but I will tear it down, and they will be called "the Territory of Wickedness" and the people who Jehovah has eternally condemned."
